Doctoral Colloquium

AAU’2026 Doctoral Colloquium

The Doctoral Colloquium at The International Conference on Smart Management, Green Technologies, and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (AAU’2026) serves as a dedicated research forum for doctoral students from universities in the UAE, the region, and around the world. The event will be hosted at Al Ain University – Abu Dhabi Campus on April 28–29, 2026.

This special track is designed to provide PhD and DBA candidates with the opportunity to present their research papers, thesis proposals, and ongoing dissertation work in a supportive and scholarly environment. Participants will receive constructive feedback from panels of experienced scholars, academic mentors, and industry experts who will guide them on how to strengthen their methodology, theoretical contribution, and academic publication potential.

This Doctoral Colloquium will take place on Day Two of the conference (April 29, 2026) and will include parallel on-campus sessions at Al Ain University in Abu Dhabi and online sessions to accommodate remote participation from international doctoral researchers.

Objectives of the Doctoral Colloquium

  • Bring together doctoral students from diverse disciplines to exchange ideas and research experiences
  • Provide expert feedback on work-in-progress research and doctoral theses
  • Build a supportive academic network among emerging scholars and senior researchers
  • Encourage publication, academic collaboration, and career development in research and innovation
  • Support doctoral candidates in transforming research ideas into strong scholarly outputs

Publication Opportunities

Accepted submissions will be published in the Conference Proceedings in both English and Arabic. Only papers submitted in English will be indexed in Scopus as part of the official conference book.

The Doctoral Colloquium is an inspiring platform that empowers PhD and DBA students to refine their research, expand their academic horizons, and become actively engaged members of the global scholarly community.
